     It seems quite bold for managers to guarantee their artist’s performances. After all, artists have to work in unfamiliar locations and have limited rehearsal time and ever changing schedules. Poor reviews should be expected. However, we understand the rigors of the job because we also are performing musicians. We have selected our ARTRA artists for their ability to dazzle audiences and critics with their unique talents and professionalism at each and every performance. Yes, we did return one commission when we booked a vocal group for a performance and they changed their personnel without telling us. There was no bad review, just an unhappy presenter who felt he hadn’t received the artists he had booked. We felt the same way.
